The psych behind the BLOG FEVER…
After hearing so much about blog from my restless blockmates, and after visiting their sites, I finally decided to make one myself…then I wondered why I got attracted to the idea of blog and why everyone (atleast in my block) is so into it…
Michael and I briefly discussed about it one day while we were waiting for our experimental psy class…
It’s actually a great way of REALLY knowing your friends and blockmates. When we’re in class, we talk to each other, but we don’t discuss our deep thoughts and feelings with everyone…but with blog, you get to tell everyone how you really feel and what you’re really thinking. You also get to understand other people better…and you also become understood better.
In a way, you get to be close with you’re friends without even conversing with them…you get to update them, sympathize with them, comfort them or just tell them about your day. You share your thoughts, ideas and most importantly, you’re problems.
I finally concluded, everyone just wants someone to talk to, someone to listen to them. We may all look superior, aloof and happy outside our blogs but all we really want is a friend…right? Admit it guyz! That’s why blog is really patok with us… man is naturally a social being… man can never stand alone…we need each other.
So keep bloggin’ (the term?!)!! It’s really a great way of connecting with others and knowing that you’re not alone. Someone’s always ready to help! Peace everyone!
